Prior to the birth of your child, we work together to become acquainted with each other, discuss your priorities and any wonderings you may have about birth, and create your birth, postpartum, and baby feeding plans. We will provide evidence-based information and be available for unlimited text and phone support.

Towards the beginning of your birthing time, we will answer questions, make suggestions for positions and comfort measures, and decide when we should begin continuous support. We will continue to provide support until the arrival of your child(ren). 

Immediately after childbirth, we will remain with you to support the first nursing session (if desired). During the postpartum session, we will debrief the birthing experience and discuss postpartum care and recovery.  

Placenta encapsulation is the process of cleaning, steaming, dehydrating, grinding, and encapsulating a placenta for the purposes of consumption.
